WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has been approached by an Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine with an large agribusiness project to import $200-300 dollars worth of grain transporation, handling and storage equipment made in the United States that would be financed under a sovereign guarantee of the Ukrainian Government.

[1] PROJECT GOAL:     To Build Grain Transportation, Loading/Unloading and Storage Facilities Throughout Ukraine.

[2] PROJECT VALUE:   USD 200-300 Million.

[3] EQUIPMENT REQUESTED FOR THE PROJECT: 

  • Mobile grain drying complexes (5-25 thousand tons/hour)
  • Grain trailers (with built-in electronic weighs and receipts printing machine)
  • Loading/unloading equipment for silo bags (200 tons/hour capacity)
  • Silobags (polyethylene bags: capacity- 200-250 ton, length-60 meters, diameter-2.75 meter for grain storage on the open field during 18-24 months period) (Note: preferably it should be the same company supplying loading equipment for silobags and the silobags)
[4]  EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS:  LIST OF REQUIREMENTS FOR EQUIPMENT:

  • DRYERS

  • 1.1. DRYERS SHOULD BE MOBILE. CAPACITY FROM 5 TO 35 MT/HOUR. IF MOBILE DRYERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR REQUIRED HIGH CAPACITY DRYERS SUCH AS 25 MT/HOUR + MORE THEN PLEASE OFFER THE STANDARD DRYERS YOU HAVE.

    1.2. ENERGY TO BE USED: NATURAL GAS OR DIESEL.

    1.3. DRYERS SHOULD HAVE BASIC LOADING IN AND OUT LOADING EQUIPMENT SUCH AS CONVEYOR LOADING MACHINES, BELTS, INTAKE/OUTTAKE PITS FOR TRUCKS USE (IF AVAILABLE).

  • GRAIN TRAILERS

  • 2.1. CAPACITY MORE THEN 29 m3.

    2.2. LOADING OUT CAPACITY 3-5 MINUTES FOR THE WHOLE TRAILER.

    2.3. OUTLOADING PIPE/BELT SHOULD BE WIDE ENOUGH AND NOT DAMAGE THE CORN.

    2.3. SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE AGREGATED WITH 150 HOURSE POWER TRACTORS.

    2.4. SHOULD HAVE ELECTRONIC WEIGHT BRIDGE TO MEASURE THE WEIGHT PLUS BE ABLE TO PROVIDE OUTPRINT OF THE QUANTITY LOADED AND DISCHARGED.

  • 3. GRAIN BAGS LOADING IN AND OUT MASCHINES/EQUIPMENT

  • 3.1. LOADING IN AND OUT MASCIINES SHOULD HAVE CAPACITY OF > 180-200MT/HOUR.

    3.2. SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE AGREGATED WITH 80 HOURSE POWER TRACTORS.

    3.3 EQUIPMENT PROVIDER SHOULD BE ABLE TO PROVIDE EITHER OWN OR BE ABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICE IN SUPPLYING UNDER SUB-CONTRACT THE GRAIN BAGS.

  • GENERAL INFORMATION REQUIRED:

  • 4.1. EACH SUPPLYER SHOULD PROVIDE DETAILED TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THEIR EQIPMENT

    4.2. EACH SUPPLIER SHOULD PROVIDE FIRST AND NON-BINDING PROPOSAL OF THE PRICES IMMEDIATELY

    4.3. EACH SUPPLIER SHOULD PROVIDE MONTHLY SCHEDULE OF THE DELIVERY BASES CIF UKRANIAN BLACK SEA PORT. FIRST EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE DELIVERED BY LAST HALF OCTOBER 2009 AND SCHEDULED UNTIL MAY 2010.

[5]  UNITED STATES MADE EQUIPMENT ONLY: The entire project will feature U.S.-made equipment only. We already have a preliminary confirmation from the US EXIM for financing for this project.

[6]  BIDS NEEDED  ASAP:  The U.S. Commercial Service need your bids for the above listed equipment CIF Odessa (Ukraine) ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
