DHL EXPRESS APPOINTS NEW UKRAINE COUNTRY MANAGER
Head of Commercial, DHL Express Russia, Natalia Bochkova, moves to Ukraine

KYIV -  DHL, the world’s leading express company, has appointed Natalia Bochkova as the Country Manager of DHL Express Ukraine. Natalia brings with her over 15 years of experience in the express and logistics industry with DHL.

As the Country Manager of DHL Express Ukraine, Natalia is responsible for the strategic development and management of all facets of the express company’s business in Ukraine.

"Ukraine is an extremely important market for us, which promises.to become even more of a priority if the economy picks up as expected in 2010," commented Adrian Marley, Managing Director, DHL CIS and South East Europe.

Natalia has delivered a strong track record across various functions, having held a number of senior management roles in the company's CIS and South East Europe region. In her previous role as Head of Commercial, DHL Express Russia, Bochkova oversaw the development and implementation of DHL's commercial strategy in Russia and achieved growth that exceeded the market average.

She was instrumental in the roll-out of product, pricing and communications programs that strengthened DHL's leadership position in the strategically important Russian market during the recent economic slowdown.

Natalia has also held the position of Head of Operations at DHL Express Russia, where she was responsible for DHL's overall production platform, including ground operations, terminal and warehouse infrastructure, customs clearance activities, and network and flight operations.

Under her leadership, DHL's operations team succeeded in maintaining and constantly improving service levels for customers in an environment of growth exceeding 30% per year on average.
 
DHL DEMONSTRATED LONG-TERM COMMITMENT TO UKRAINE
DHL Express has demonstrated its long-term commitment to Ukraine with a number of significant investments in recent years. In 2007, DHL launched a dedicated air link with an AN12 cargo aircraft between the Ukrainian capital Kiev and the company's global hub in Leipzig, Germany, and in May 2008, they opened a new, state-of-the-art terminal in Kiev's Borispol Airport.

Despite the challenging economic environment, the company has achieved year-on-year growth in the Ukrainian market in 2009.
 
Bochkova was born in Moscow on May 22, 1971. She graduated from the Moscow University of Management in 1994 with a specialization in economics and accounting and is currently participating in the IESE Global Executive MBA program.
