LIFE:) TO START NEW STAGE OF ITS 'JUMP INTO LIFE:)' PROGRAM Life:) has announced it will continue its interactive "Jump into life:)" educational program. The main aim of the project is to show young professionals the inner workings of large company from the inside, plus provide practical advice and relevant knowledge to them as they pursue success and seek to develop their full professional potential in the business world. The program is open to students enrolled in main state universities in Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Odesa. MTS UKRAINE TO KICK OFF ITS ANNUAL 'PROFESSIONALS OF THE FUTURE' CONTEST MTS Ukraine has announced the start of its annual "Professionals of the Future" contest, which is part of a long-term MTS program to support students. The program, being implemented jointly with the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Ukraine, combines the educational process, scholarships from MTS and internships at the company. This year's theme relates to the joint creation and operation of next-generation networks by different operators.The deadline for this year's contest is 9 April 2012. At the end of the program each team will make a public presentation of a project and be judged by a special contest jury. The winning team of students will receive UAH 25,000 for their future education and professional development. More (in Ukrainian) can be found here. ERNST & YOUNG UKRAINE EXTENDS EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES Ernst & Young Ukraine has continued its educational "Step into the Future" project after successful implementation of the pilot stage in 2010-2011. The project provides relevant professional knowledge and experience in preparing students for future professional life.In particular, Ernst & Young has kicked off its 'Step into the Future 2012' educational project for students of Kyiv National Economic University. All participants will be able to take part in the "Ernst & Young University" and "Coffee with a Partner" projects, a special business case competition, an open-door day at E&Y Ukraine and the option of taking special tests for open company positions. As a part of the "Ernst & Young University" project (November 2011 - April 2012) more than 100 students from different universities in Kyiv will get to hear different lectures from specialists of Ernst & Young. Successful resolution of business case problem solving will allow the right students to intern in the Auditing Department of E&Y Ukraine. All participants of the Coffee with a Partner project will get the chance to communicate with top E&Y managers on career opportunities.
