CISCO TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS ON PREPARING UKRAINE FOR EURO 2012

KYIV - The Ukrainian representative of Cisco Systems Inc., the world's largest network equipment producer, is intending to participate in all infrastructure projects on preparing Ukraine to host the finals of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, according to Oleksandr Chemerys, the manager for Cisco business development in Ukraine.

"Euro 2012 is one of priority directions for Cisco in Ukraine. We are actively cooperating with the coordination bureau on issues of preparing for the championship, directly with facilities: stadiums, hotels, and airports. We'll try to be involved in every project," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine. 

As reported, Cisco supplied equipment worth $6 million to create IT infrastructure at the Donbass Arena stadium (Donetsk).
