| DLA PIPER ADVISES ITE ON ACQUISITION OF ASSETS RELATED TO EXHIBITIONS OF LLC "COMPANY AUTOEXPO" IN UKRAINE |
DLA Piper Ukraine LLC, kyiv, Ukraine Kyiv – DLA Piper provided legal support to ITE, an international exhibition company, in its acquisition of the assets related to exhibitions of LLC "Company Autoexpo". The acquisition was conducted through the ITE’s Ukrainian subsidiary, Premier Expo. The value of the deal is not disclosed. The acquisition includes a portfolio of more than 10 exhibitions including SIA, the Kyiv International Autosalon, which is the leading motor show in Ukraine, as well as other exhibitions in ITE's core sectors such as travel & tourism, building, construction, transport and oil & gas. It is expected that the acquisition will strengthens the leading market position of ITE in Ukraine. DLA Piper team provided full support to the client during the transaction. In particular, we did transaction structuring from legal and tax perspective, conducted legal due diligence, obtained the approval of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for concentration, drafted all transaction documents, provided negotiations support and support at closing of the transaction.
