For many years DuPont Pioneer is committed to ensure a continuous delivering of its products. The company values the reputation of the reliable supplier and partner, and because of this the work with customers is built on principles of professionalism and responsibility for the result.

Due to the strong collaboration of Supply Chain, Production and the Sales departments in all over the world and particularly in Ukraine in 2013 the company has made it possible to achieve a significant increase in seed deliveries. Thus, in Ukraine volumes of delivering increased significantly versus last year. Company is on track to deliver the contracted seed volumes to  Ukrainian customers quite ahead of planting time.  Excellent results are visible at other European markets as well like in Russia, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Poland.

Roman Zavalnyi from distributor’s company Expertiza-Lux commented that his company was able to fulfil its obligations on time and according to appropriate quality: “It was possible due to on time delivery from DuPont Pioneer”. CustomerMykola Sorochan, AF “Kodyma” said: “We received the ordered hybrids on time according to the quality as usual, because Pioneer is very respectable company”.

«An effective teamwork has been essential factor to this successful outcome. Despite a late and slow harvest season, efficient production and the commitment to schedule have ensured the deliveries in total volumes in the most critical period of the year – since December, when trucks’ availability is typically lower», - commented Alfredo Martani, Logistic Manager at DuPont Pioneer Europe. «Actual positive results encourage DuPont Pioneer team to constantly evaluate new strategies, as part of our ongoing efforts to support our business goals and serve our customers to the best of our ability», - he added.

«It is important on principle for us to ensure on-time supply to our customers by accordant seeds of appropriate quality, in appropriate quantity and by acceptable prices, - Dmytro Shapovalov, Supply Chain manager at DuPont Pioneer, Eastern Europe adds. – That’s why we are committed to focus not only on the assurance of Supply Chain, but also on its reliability».

Using an optimal transport and logistic chain DuPont Pioneer chooses the less cost rout for delivering seed to Ukraine by minimizing time for supply. The main countries of delivering seeds to Ukrainian farmers are USA, Hungary, Austria, Romania and Turkey. Moreover, recently local producers receive the opportunity to buy seeds produced in Ukraine according to the all international standards of DuPont Pioneer – in June last year the company officially opened its production facility in Stasi village, Poltava region. The annual capacity of the new enterprise to date is 500 000 units of corn and sunflower seeds Pioneer® brand, and the company considers the option of additional investments in this plant.

With the purpose of planning production process and assurance of seed distribution according to the customers demand since December 2013 DuPont Pioneer in Ukraine implemented the project Pioneer Forecast Plus, which is successfully realized in several European countries for many years and gave benefits to growers as well as distributors. The basis of this approach is in receiving information about customer intentions about sawing to help company improve supply of its products. For two months over 1000 farmers over Ukraine used this proposal and received first bags.

In this way and by working on the improving processes in all company’s departments DuPont Pioneer in the complexity at global and local levels assures to its customers on-time access to the high-quality seeds Pioneer® helping them in increasing of their productivity and profitability.
