KPMG UKRAINE PARTICIPATES IN BANKING CFO FORUM IN YALTA

KYIV - On June 8, KPMG Ukraine’s professionals acted as key speakers at the Banking CFO Forum that took place in Yalta. Vadym Kuntsevych, Audit Senior Manager in the Financial Services Group, and Yuri Shved, Manager, Transaction and Restructuring Department, made presentations for the top-level representatives of the leading commercial banks and other financial institutions from Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
 
“Loan Portfolio – 2009: Provisioning According to the International Financial Reporting Standards”, a presentation made by Vadym Kuntsevych, was very well received by participants and generated live discussions and a range of practical questions. Yuri Shved focused on Debt Restructuring in the Banking Sector.

His presentation turned out to be very topical for the finance professionals. Sharing their impressions afterwards, the delegates acknowledged that both speakers contributed a lot in reaching the ultimate aim of the event which was to establish a new forum for professionals from the CIS countries enabling them to share their experience and knowledge as well as to establish new partnerships.
