WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy (UKMA), Kyiv, Ukraine, was founded in 1615, and after centuries of suppression, it was re-established in 1992.  Since that time, the University has been guided by the vision of educating a new generation of leaders based on academic freedom and the highest international standards of academic excellence, with emphasis on rule of law, ethical standards and service to build a democratic civil society.

In spite of monumental difficulties, the University became a premier educational institution and gained international recognition.  The Kyiv Mohyla Foundation of America, Chicago, Illinois (a member of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council [USUBC]) is dedicated to assisting and supporting the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy.  Guided by the strategic priorities of the University, the Foundation promotes the University in its mission through volunteer engagement and philanthropic support. 

KYIV MOHYLA BUSINESS SCHOOL (KMBS)
Kyiv Mohyla Business School (KMBS) was established in 1999 to educate business leaders who make lasting contributions to Ukraine and the world, with a focus on the highest quality learning through unique programs, leadership with an international perspective and social responsibility.  KMBS is engaged in continuous collaborative programs to support the executive and management needs of the business community in Ukraine.

KYIV MOHYLA ACADEMY DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS
Kyiv Mohyla Academy Department of Economics consists of three departments: Department of Economic Theory, Department of Finance and Department of Marketing and Business Management. The Department of Economics offers Bachelor's degrees in Economics, Finance and Marketing, and Master's degrees in Economics (with specialization in Innovation Strategy, Economic Policy, Consumer Behavior) and Finance, and a Doctorate in Economic Theory, Mathematical Theory and Information Technology in Economics, and Economics and Business Management.
