POLTAVA CONFECTIONARY COMPANY POSTS PROFIT OF UAH 24.3 MILLION IN 2009

KYIV - The Poltavakondyter confectionary in Poltava, ranking among top ten Ukrainian candy-makers, finished 2009 with a net profit of UAH 24.34 million. Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the company, the wording of which was made available to the agency.

In 2009, net revenues of the company amounted to UAH 381.009 million, a decrease of 8.9% or UAH 37.055 million year-on-year. As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Poltavakondyter finished 2008 with a net profit of UAH 19.5 million. The company produces over 200 types of caramel, candies, chocolate, and cookies under the Dominic trademark.

16.23% of the shares in Poltavakondyter are owned by Sigma Advisors, Inc. (the United States), 29.49% by Ukrn I New Capital Co.Limited, 29.49% by Ukrn II Future Capital Growth Co.Limited, and 17.29% by Ukrn III New World Growth Co.Limited (all the companies are Cyprus-based).
