Sayenko Kharenko has appointed Volodymyr Yaremko to counsel role as the firm continues to focus on strengthening practices and investing in talent from within the firm.

Volodymyr has 10 years of professional experience and specializes in providing legal support in multi-jurisdictional disputes in national courts and in international commercial and investment arbitration. He has substantial expertise advising clients on various matters in large-scale infrastructure projects and representing clients in arbitration proceedings of various arbitral institutions. Volodymyr has significant experience representing client interests in cross-border debt recovery proceedings, including obtaining Worldwide Freezing Orders at the High Court of Justice in London and enforcement of foreign court judgments and arbitral awards in Ukraine and abroad.

In his new position Volodymyr will continue to focus on two areas at Sayenko Kharenko: international litigation and arbitration matters, as well as leading infrastructure industry group within the firm.

He is recognized among Ukraine’s leading lawyers in arbitration and mediation by Best Lawyers International 2019 and is recommended among the world’s leading litigation lawyers by Who's Who Legal Litigation: Lawyers 2017. Volodymyr is also a member of the Board of the Ukrainian Arbitration Association and the Transport Law Committee of the Ukrainian Bar Association. He is a member of the International Bar Association and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
