Vasil Kisil& Partners acted as legal advisor to a major Danish software company inrelation of effecting redundancy of its staff in Ukraine. 

Vasil Kisil & Partners team acted as legaladvisor in Ukraine in a cross-jurisdictional team of law firms covering eightEuropean jurisdictions coordinating simultaneous redundancy in localsubsidiaries of the software company. VKP advised the client regarding complexissues of collective redundancy exercise in Ukraine including the timing of theinformation/consultation procedures, veto of the dismissals by any partyinvolved, redundancy selection in particular evaluation of employees' pre-emptiverights by law to retain job, redundancy severance payment etc. Theadvice covered full structuring of the redundancy process, preparation ofthe necessary documents as well as conducting negotiations with redundantemployees.
