Washington, D.C. -- IBM recently announced the appointment of Valery Shlahov as the new Country General Manager for Ukraine. Valery Shlahov assumed his new role from 1 January 2018. He succeeded Penko Dinev, who has completed his seven-year assignment on 31 December 2017.  IBM is a member of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), www.USUBC.org

For over 20 years Valery Shlahov held various business development, sales and top management positions at prominent Ukrainian and international companies. His geographies of responsibility included Ukraine, the CIS countries and also several countries of the CEE region. Before joining IBM, Valery Shlahov worked for over 3 years as CEO of an IT services company he founded in Ukraine. Valery Shlahov received his master’s degree diploma with distinction at the Moscow Aviation Institute.
