Celebrates its 20th anniversary and opens 20th major elevator complex, reviving agricultural transportation on the Dniper WASHINGTON, D.C. - Nibulon, the largest agricultural company in Ukraine, has been approved for membership in the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), the USUBC executive committee announced today on behalf of the entire USUBC membership of over 175 companies and organizations who have business operations, investments or other development programs in Ukraine. It is important to note that the commissioning of the grain elevator was preceded by two very important village events. In the local school that was repaired at as a contribution of Nibulon, there was the opening of two classrooms of chemistry, equipped with interactive whiteboard, and with new computers. In addition, a completely reconstructed local stadium with a new football field, several sports facilities, changing rooms, bleachers and sport equipment was opened. HEAD OF KYIV REGIONAL STATE ADMINISTRATION Noting the role of Oleksiy Vadaturskyy personally, Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk said, "I want to continue to work with such a person. You know, it is a pleasure to work with such a company. If there were more companies of this kind in Ukraine - we will really truly build our state." The Governor of the Kyiv region also expressed a hope that "NIBULON" will help him to realize his dream - to revive navigation along the Dnipro River. He said has no doubt that the leader of the agrarian market can cope with that. Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk also made a pointed reference to the large social corporate responsibility (CSR) component of the investment project of "NIBULON" in Denyhivka village: "Today almost UAH 5 million was allocated for the social needs of the village: the school is repaired, the stadium is built, lighting is installed - and these are only the first steps." During the grand opening A. Prysyazhnyuk awarded the Diploma of Merit of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the Hero of Ukraine, General Director of "NIBULON" Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. He was awarded "for significant personal contribution to the development of agricultural production, application of the latest agricultural products storage technologies, many for years of conscientious work and professionalism." The role of "NIBULON" to address this issue can hardly be overestimated." GENERAL DIRECTOR OF NIBULON OLEKSIY VADATURSKYY He noted that this is not the last elevator complex that "NIBULON" will build in the metropolitan region. "In 2012 we plan to build six elevator complexes, in particular, 2 transshipment terminals in Pereyaslav-Khmel’nyts’kyy and Kagarlyts’kyy districts of Kyiv region. We will complete the investment program planned 2 years ago by 2013, it is an investment of USD 500 million in the agrarian sector of Ukraine, which involves bringing own elevator capacities up to 2.5 million tons, own complete fleet with a deadweight of 250 thousand tons. "We must adopt not only the rivers in Ukraine, but also the rivers of other countries - our neighbors. We actually show how an investor should invest today in the Ukrainian economy. And what results of the work there could be, when there is a partnership between government and business!" Oleksiy Vadaturskyy said. "We once again showed at the local level how it is necessary in practice to develop rural infrastructure. Our company as a leader of the agrarian market is able to implement investment projects of national significance.
