Celebrates its 20th anniversary and opens 20th major elevator complex, reviving agricultural transportation on the Dniper

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Nibulon, the largest agricultural company in Ukraine, has been approved for membership in the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), the USUBC executive committee announced today on behalf of the entire USUBC membership of over 175 companies and organizations who have business operations, investments or other development programs in Ukraine.

A leader of the agricultural market of Ukraine "NIBULON" celebrated the 20th anniversary of the company and opened its 20th elevator complex on December 1. The opening of the modern elevator complex for receiving, storing and shipment of grain and oilseeds, with a capacity of 77 thousand tons, at the "Denyhivs’ka" branch was held in the Denyhivka village of Tetiyiv district Kyiv region.

The event was attended by thousands of people from the local community many other towns of the district. Numerous guests from Kyiv and representatives of international diplomatic corps, international companies - and business partners of "NIBULON" also attended the opening of the new elevator complex.

It is important to note that the commissioning of the grain elevator was preceded by two very important village events. In the local school that was repaired at as a contribution of Nibulon, there was the opening of two classrooms of chemistry, equipped with interactive whiteboard, and with new computers. In addition, a completely reconstructed local stadium with a new football field, several sports facilities, changing rooms, bleachers and sport equipment was opened.

HEAD OF KYIV REGIONAL STATE ADMINISTRATION
The head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk said, "I am grateful to Nibulon's General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy for the fact that he believed in this area, came to us and embodied these plans. This is the economic development of the village, of the whole Tetiyiv district and this is our future."

Noting the role of Oleksiy Vadaturskyy personally, Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk said, "I want to continue to work with such a person. You know, it is a pleasure to work with such a company. If there were more companies of this kind in Ukraine - we will really truly build our state."

The Governor of the Kyiv region also expressed a hope that "NIBULON" will help him to realize his dream - to revive navigation along the Dnipro River. He said has no doubt that the leader of the agrarian market can cope with that. Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk also made a pointed reference to the large social corporate responsibility (CSR) component of the investment project of "NIBULON" in Denyhivka village: "Today almost UAH 5 million was allocated for the social needs of the village: the school is repaired, the stadium is built, lighting is installed - and these are only the first steps."

During the grand opening A. Prysyazhnyuk awarded the Diploma of Merit of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to the Hero of Ukraine, General Director of "NIBULON" Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. He was awarded "for significant personal contribution to the development of agricultural production, application of the latest agricultural products storage technologies, many for years of conscientious work and professionalism."

GREETINGS FROM U.S. AMBASSADOR JOHN TEFFT
A diplomatic official from the economic department of the U.S. Embassy Alex Ryan reported greetings from the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine John Tefft. He noted, "It`s a pleasure to see the renovated school today, computerized classrooms, a new stadium and this impressive business enterprise, where there is equipment purchased from the United States is installed. This modern grain elevator is an evidence of the huge importance of investing in the agricultural sector of Ukraine."

"The Ukrainian government requires two things in order to have more of such investments: first, to make its policies transparent so that all companies and market participants have equal opportunities and equal rules, and secondly - market regulation should be predictable, so that companies are informed in advance about possible changes," the diplomatic official said.

LEONID KOZACHENKO, AGRARIAN CONFEDERATION
The head of the Entrepreneurs Council under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the President of Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation Leonid Kozachenko said, "Oleksiy Vadaturskyy is so far the only Ukrainian businessman who builds vessels for the transportation of grain, develops a large base for its storage in different regions of Ukraine. Thanks to him, tens of thousands of people have a job. All over Ukraine people and villages get help and support. If there were more such people, it would be much better in our country! "

VOLODYMYR KLYMENKO, GRAIN ASSOCIATION
The president of the Ukrainian Grain Association Volodymyr Klymenko also noted the significance of the investment projects of "NIBULON", "Today Ukraine has collected one of the record harvests in its history, which according to official data has already exceeded 56 million tons. According to the UN in 2050, world population will reach 9 billion people.

"One of the most important tasks that must be completed today is the problem of providing food to the population of our planet. I think that this is an hour of triumph for our country! After all, Ukraine has a strong agricultural complex, so our great mission is to provide the world`s population with food. The role of "NIBULON" to address this issue can hardly be overestimated."

GENERAL DIRECTOR OF NIBULON OLEKSIY VADATURSKYY
The general director of "NIBULON", Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy thanked all the business partners involved in the construction of the elevator complex, representatives of the authorities and the local population, especially the head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Anatoliy Prysyazhnyuk and his team for the complete assistance in the implementation of the investment project of the company, "If there were not such a support, our company would not be in the Kyiv region!"

He noted that this is not the last elevator complex that "NIBULON" will build in the metropolitan region. "In 2012 we plan to build six elevator complexes, in particular, 2 transshipment terminals in Pereyaslav-Khmel’nyts’kyy and Kagarlyts’kyy districts of Kyiv region. We will complete the investment program planned 2 years ago by 2013, it is an investment of USD 500 million in the agrarian sector of Ukraine, which involves bringing own elevator capacities up to 2.5 million tons, own complete fleet with a deadweight of 250 thousand tons.

"We must adopt not only the rivers in Ukraine, but also the rivers of other countries - our neighbors. We actually show how an investor should invest today in the Ukrainian economy. And what results of the work there could be, when there is a partnership between government and business!" Oleksiy Vadaturskyy said.

"We once again showed at the local level how it is necessary in practice to develop rural infrastructure. Our company as a leader of the agrarian market is able to implement investment projects of national significance. In future we`re going to prove again and again in practice that our company is a leader in all respects and our project is an investment program of the leader of the agrarian sector of Ukraine," the Hero of Ukraine emphasized.
