In January – June 2019, UIA increased passenger traffic by nearly 8% compared to the same period of 2018, and carried 3 million and 840 thousand passengers. Transit traffic on UIA scheduled flights reached 49.3%.

Within the reported timeframe, UIA operated 30 thousand flights, by 0.2% less compared to 2018. Meanwhile, the load factor increased and amounted to 79% versus 77% in the past year. 

In the first six months of 2019, UIA flight punctuality rate was 83% compared with 77% in 2018.

During the reporting period, UIA mail and cargo traffic reached 11 thousand tons, by 6% higher than for the same period last year.

Since the turn of the year, UIA enhanced its flight network and launched two new international scheduled flights – from Kiev to Izmir and from Kherson to Bourgas, as well as increased its fleet capacity with two new medium-range narrow-body Embraer-195 aircrafts.
