USUBC Roundtable on Protecting Investors Rights and Raider Attacks
USUBC members met with Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Olena Kovalova, Deputy Minister of Justice Olena Sukmanova and Denys Nizalov, World Bank.

Members of U.S.-Ukraine Business Council Ag and Legal Committees met with Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Olena Kovalova and Deputy Minister of Justice Olena Sukmanova in Washington during their business trip for the World Bank Conference.
The main subject for this meeting was Protecting rights of Investors and land users. In the light of Land and Legal reforms in Ukraine participants of the round table also discussed critically important issues such as agribusiness development, facilitating investments in agriculture and rural areas, protection of agricultural producers from raider attacks and streamlining the registration of land related rights as well as actions to stimulate investments.
We appreciate this opportunity for our members to meet with Ms. Kovalova and Ms. Sukmanova and thank Denys Nizalov, Project Director, “Capacity Development for Evidence-Based Land & Agricultural Policy Making Project in Ukraine” for helping to arrange this meeting. Станислав Лурье, General Director of the state enterprise "National Information Systems," also participated in the program.
A long-time USUBC member Cargill hosted this event in its Washington office.
