Asters Acts as a Ukrainian Law Counsel in connection with EBRD USD 10 Million Loan to a Ukrainian Shipping Company Yugreftransflot

Asters acts as a Ukrainian law counsel in connection with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development USD 10 million loan to a Sevastopol-based shipping company Yugreftransflot. This funding is to be used to finance acquisition of two multi-purpose dry cargo vessels. This project is a part of Yugreftransflot's diversification strategy and is intended to support the company's plan to expand its business from the traditional reefer sector into the regional dry cargo transportation. Yugreftransflot will also implement significant institutional and environmental initiatives, including introduction of a Corporate Governance Code and a greenhouse gas accounting and monitoring system.
