Asters acts as a legal counsel to the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in connection with a USD 5 million long-term financing to one of the largest agro holdings in Ukraine – the Mriya group of companies.

The financing is provided to Mriya within the framework of the IFC's Cleaner Production Lending Facility and constitutes a loan (CP Loan) aiming at improving the operational processes and resource and energy efficiencies at the Mriya sugar plant companies located in the Western part of Ukraine.

The CP Loan is extended in addition to the financing IFC provided to Mriya in 2010 and 2011, in which Asters also acted as a counsel to IFC.

Asters' banking and finance team working on this project includes partner Iryna Pokanay and associates Gabriel Aslanian and Viktoria Zagreba.
