Kyiv, 7 November 2016 – AVELLUM advised UniCredit Group (“UCG”) on Ukrainian law matters in connection with the disposal of 99.9% shares in PJSC “Ukrsotsbank”, an asset of UCG in Ukraine, in exchange for a minority stake (9.9%) in ABH Holdings S.A.

As a result of this deal, UCG became a minority shareholder of ABH Holdings S.A., an investment holding company of the banking group of Alfa-Group, headquartered in Luxembourg.

Linklaters advised UCG on English law matters, while Rothschild and UniCredit Corporate & Investment Banking acted as the financial advisers of UCG on this transaction.
