Kyiv - DLA Piper scooped the award for Best in Ukraine at the Euromoney Europe Women in Business Law Awards held at The Savoy in London on 20th of June. The firm's office in Kyiv was recognised for its female staff valuable professional contribution in business development as well as for the wide range of social and professional benefits offered by the office to all female employees.

The Award Ceremony was preceded by the release of the second edition of Guide to World’s Leading Women in Business Law where Natalia Kochergina, Partner and Head of Real Estate and Svitlana Musienko, Partner and Head of Tax, in Kyiv, were named among the best practitioners in their respective fields.
At the Ceremony, DLA Piper also won Best International Firm Mentoring Programme category for its Women's Network Mentoring Programme which was launched UK wide in 2011 and was open to all Women's Network ("WN") members and designed to assist with personal career development, retention and to better leverage diversity for the firm and its clients. The programme is a key element of the firm's Women's Network (launched in July 2010) which core objective is to create an energising, empowering and effective environment for women at DLA Piper.
