Oleksandr Voznyuk, a 16-year veteran of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMC), has joined Asters as Counsel to strengthen firm's competition practice. Mr. Voznyuk served as AMC Commissioner for last 7 years and was one of long-standing Members, and most recently the Chair, of the Public Procurement Review Board.

Prior to that Mr. Voznyuk occupied various positions within AMC Legal and Legal Enforcement departments, including AMC Chief Legal's office. During nearly 9 years with the Antimonopoly Committee's legal service he was both a successful litigator for the AMC and an initiator of a number of most important legislative changes aimed at harmonizing Ukraine's competition legislation with EU laws.

Mr. Voznyuk is known as one of the main co-authors of Ukraine's key competition laws and regulations and shapers of AMC competition policy. He also worked as Ukraine's Member of the State Procurements and Cartels working groups of the CIS Interstate Council for Competition Policy.
