New anthem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces presented at NaUKMA

Oleh Skrypka, one of Ukraine’s most beloved rock musicians, presented his version of the legendary “March of Ukrainian Nationalists”, a patriotic song also known as “We were born in a great hour”. The lyrics were written in 1929 by well-known poet Oles Babiy who lived his elder years in Chicago.
The newly arranged song has a new name, “March of the New Army”, and premiered at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy as the new anthem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
