As part of the Discover Ukraine program, Ukraine International Airlines partnered the exhibition of Matvei Vaisberg, a prominent Ukrainian artist. The event is held between February 12 and March 5, 2016, in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Historically, UIA has been partnering various cultural projects since professional carriage of artwork is an indispensable part of the airline`s cargo portfolio. UIA transported artwork by Matvei Vaisberg (total weight exceeds 100 kg) on its non-stop scheduled PS517 Kiev – Tbilisi flight.

The exhibition of the Ukrainian artist opened in the Central Museum of Fine Arts, a unit of the National Museum of Georgia, on February 12, 2016, became an outstanding start of the capital`s fine arts season, and caught attention of the leading Georgian press, as well as state and social figures. Such landmark painting cycles as the Wall, the Scenes from TaNaK, and the Bestiary are part of the exhibition, to name just a few.

“UIA regularly partners various social and cultural projects lending support to participants and organizers of landmark international events representing Ukraine internationally. These activities are part of the UIA Discover Ukraine social program, – noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary. – We are always willing to partner those projects and personalities that aim at improving our country`s image and honorably presenting Ukraine worldwide”.
