INVITATION - The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC)   in a small, by invitation only, business luncheon with Maksym Martynyuk, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine at 12:15 p.m - 2:00 p.m on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in the offices of USUBC member, Cargill, The Executive Building, 1030 15th street, NW, Suite 650 West, Washington, D.C. 20005. (same building as USUBC office).  A light lunch will be served.  

This will be a first meeting of USUBC members with the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Deputy Minister Martynyuk will make an opening presentation which will then be followed by a Q&A/Discussion.  USUBC is very fortunate to have an opportunity to meet with Mr. Martynyuk and to discuss critically important issues such as agribusiness development and land reform in Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister will be accompanied by Denys Nizalov, PhD., Director of Project, "Capacity Development for Evidence-Based Land & Agricultural Policy Making Project in Ukraine" and Denis Bashlyk, State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadaster.

BIO: Maksym Martynyuk, First Deputy Minister, Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine

Maksym Martynyuk appointed for the position of First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine in July 27, 2016.  Before his appointment in March 2015 according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine he was appointed as Chairman of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre.

Prior to this in March 2014 was appointed as the First Deputy Chairman of the State Architectural and Construction Inspection of Ukraine. Since April 25, 2014 performed as Chairman of the State Architectural and Construction Inspection of Ukraine.  In 2011 – 2014 was working as Director of the Department for Architecture, Urban Planning and Cadaster of Vinnytsia City Council.

Since 2009 till 2010 had been working as Head of Division for water resources protection of Ministry of Natural Resources of Ukraine, and later – as First Deputy Head of State Department of Environmental Protection in the Vinnitsa oblast.  To read more: http://minagro.gov.ua/en/node/16064
