WASHINGTON, D.C. - You are invited to attend a webinar "Ukraine agricultural market: a year in review, focus on food security and national production in 2023" on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:15 am EST, 5:00 pm Kyiv time, via ZOOM.

The war in Ukraine is causing disruptions in global food supplies, with grave consequences for many developing countries. Millions of people across the world are at risk of being driven into starvation unless action is taken now to respond together and at scale.

Global food security sits at the nexus of the world’s most pressing challenges. As food insecurity rises – threatened by near-term shocks like the COVID-19 pandemic and war in Ukraine, and long-term risks of climate change and sustained conflict – ending world hunger will require enhanced public-private cooperation and wide-ranging innovation in agriculture, technology, finance and policy.

The event features opening remarks from Morgan Williams, USUBC, CEO & President.
