On September 4, 2015 VIIInternational economic forum “INNOVATIONS. INVESTMENTS. KHARKIV INITIATIVES!”,during which the top-management of the country will discuss the plan of actionsfor the renovation of the Ukrainian economy, will be held in the five-starhotel “Premier Palace Hotel Kharkiv”.
Besides Kharkiv Regional StateAdministration and Kharkiv Regional Council, Forum Co-organizers are: Ministryof Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services ofUkraine; EU project “Support to Ukraine’s Regional development policy”; USAIDproject “Public private partnership development program”; Internationalconsulting company “PricewaterhouseCoopers”; International investment company “SigmaBleyzer”;Kharkiv Regional Center for Investment and Development and a lot of otherUkrainian and foreign companies that support the Forum and offer their speakersto be included in its program.
Key topics of plenary sessionsand panel discussions of the Forum will be the implementation of Strategy forSustainable Development “Ukraine – 2020”, the results achieved and plan offurther actions to reform the local government and territorial organization ofpower in Ukraine, export promotion and attraction of investments in Ukraine,new opportunities for public-private partnerships, practical steps to create“electronic government”, issues of energy conservation and development of oil andgas industry in the Kharkiv Region, creating an effective system of productionand processing of agricultural products, investment projects that will receivefunding from the State Fund for Regional Development, development ofinternational integration, preparation for privatization of state enterprises.
