Yaroslav Petrov, Partner at Asters, has been reelected a Co-Chair of the Fuel & Energy Committee of the European Business Association (EBA), the largest association of international and domestic businesses operating in Ukraine. Co-Chairing will be conducted by Yaroslav in 2019 together with Aleksei Dubovskyi, Head of the Exchange Committee at Ukrainian Energy Exchange.

The EBA Fuel & Energy Committee actively interacts with Ukrainian state authorities and international institutions, including the Energy Community, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, EU Support Group for Ukraine, International Monetary Fund, etc., on various legal and business matters and serves as an industry discussion, consulting and drafting platform.

“We are confident that upon leadership of Mr. Petrov and Mr. Dubovskyi, the Committee will certainly reach positive results in its activity and promote a sustainable development of the fuel & energy industry in Ukraine,” – the official announcement of the European Business Association highlights.


Established in 1999, the European Business Association (EBA) provides a forum in which members can discuss and find solutions to common problems affecting business in Ukraine.
