DTEK becomes first Ukrainian company to join the Valuable 500 global movement
As a member of the UN Global Compact (since 2007) and the World Economic Forum (since 2019) DTEK strives to be a role model for Ukrainian business. Creating an equal environment for all is an integral part of DTEK's values. On the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3rd), the Company joined the Valuable 500. This movement brings together CEOs from around the world who have committed, among other things, to improve the integration of employees and clients with disabilities.


Keeping in mind the UN Sustainable Development Goals, DTEK has declared its intent to integrate zero-barrier principles in its business processes. The company’s understanding of zero barriers is rules and standards that ensure equal rights and opportunities regarding access to jobs, services, mobility, and communication for various social groups that have been affected by restrictions based on age, gender, disabilities, etc. DTEK provides support to human rights, and practically implements principles of non-discrimination and equal opportunities.
