by UCCA - Ukrainian Congress Committee of America

The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America’s (UCCA) Council on Aid to Ukrainians (CAU/RODU) has launched a nationwide fundraising campaign to support our brethren in Ukraine, in the event of Russia’s further invasion and escalation in Ukraine

If deterrence fails, Ukrainian officials estimate between 3 to 5 million Ukrainians could become refugees, with many children caught in the middle of an armed conflict. Even as we pray for Ukraine, UCCA’s CAU/RODU has already reached out to “AICM-Ukraine” Foundation (Association Internationale de Cooperation Medicine) to partner in planning for the provision of vital humanitarian aid to this population, as well as to the front-line defenders.

AICM-Ukraine, under the coordination of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), has secured warehouses in several oblasts in the east, south and north of Ukraine, where prepositioned humanitarian aid supplies can be securely stored. CAU/RODU will assist AICM-Ukraine by earmarking your donations for the purchase of WHO-standard NCDK medical kits and WHO-standard IEHK or TESK pharmaceutical kits.

All donations to UCCA’s Council on Aid to Ukrainians are tax-deductible.

Responding to Russia’s War on Ukraine with Critical Medical Supplies
Organized by U.S.-Ukraine Foundation (USUF)

A group of people in a roomDescription automatically generated with low confidenceOn February 24, 2022, The US-Ukraine Foundation (USUF) announced the establishment of " Ukraine AirLIFT " a program to deliver medical supplies to all parts of Ukraine.

The Foundation is working with the Afya Foundation. Afya rescues unused medical supplies which would otherwise go into landfills (more at: www.afyafoundation.org). Since 2008, Afya, has rescued and shipped supplies valued at more than $39 million to 79 countries.

Afya’s Disaster Response Hub is preparing urgently needed wound care, surgical equipment, and biomedical equipment to be shipped to Ukraine and is coordinating with other organizations and government agencies.

In addition to financial donations (www.usukraine.orghttps://afyafoundation.org/campaign/disaster-response-hub-ukraine/) we are specifically seeking help from airlines or aircraft companies that can help to ship tons of supplies to neighboring destinations, (i.e. Poland) to be trucked into Ukraine. DiagramDescription automatically generated with low confidenceThe Come Back Alive Foundation next to the Ukrainian military. The frontline of the Russian-Ukrainian war is not only the front. It is where there is a war for Ukraine.

In hospitals, warehouses, training grounds, in the media, in offices. We supply and repair equipment, train military and officers, help change the Armed Forces, talk about the war first-hand and stem the flow of propaganda and disinformation. For the seventh year, the foundation provides the Ukrainian army with the most important – tactical advantage.

The spring of 2014 turned our lives around just like the lives of volunteers, the military and the whole of Ukraine. We, ordinary Ukrainians, have changed our different works to one thing in common – to become a reliable rear for defenders. Six years ago, the foundation sent the first thermal imagers to the front and continues to do so now.

But we are changing with the army and the tasks that lie ahead. We adapt to the needs of the military – those who are fighting and those who return. We analyze the problems of the army and conducted a large-scale study of the reasons why servicemen are discharged from the army. The public version is available at the link.

Another important area of the organization's work is the support of those who defended Ukraine from the aggressor's troops with weapons in their hands. The Foundation's team is convinced that veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war should become successful – locomotives for the development of society.

Since the beginning of war in Ukraine, the leaders, and volunteers of Save a Life International went to Poland, Romania and other neighboring countries to help desperate Ukrainian women with children who were forced to leave their homes.

Nadia Gordynsky, President of Save a Life wrote in the newsletter from a refugee camp in Romania: Last night I noticed a man standing in line waiting to speak to me. I asked how I can help. He said that he was here with 7 children and his wife, waiting to be processed and needing rest. They had driven from Kyiv for 2 days. I asked where his wife was, and he pointed to the women crouched in the chair in pain. He told me that his wife has stage 4 cancer. My heart was breaking!!! We found them a room to sleep…
