Following the results of International Air Transport Association (IATA) follow-up audit for the compliance with global operational safety standards, Ukraine International Airlines received the IOSA Certificate valid through to June 17, 2021.

In February 2019, UIA has once again successfully completed the audit for modern operational safety requirements compliance and received the new IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) Certificate. The IOSA audit covers all aspects of an airline’s operations affecting flight safety, including maintenance and flight operation, ground handling, cargo transportation, aviation safety, and company management.

“Flight safety has always been and will always remain the UIA top priority, ‒ noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Communications Director. – In 2005, UIA underwent its first IOSA audit. We undergo the IOSA audit every two years and each time we receive the new IOSA Certificate. This year we have received our 8th Certificate. The IOSA standards are being continuously upgraded and adjusted, while security requirements are becoming more stringent. We are proud that every time our company manages to undergo such a serious international audit almost flawlessly.”
