Ukraine imposes final anti-dumping duties on reinforcing steel bars and wire rod from the Russian Federation


Kyiv, Ukraine - 1 February 2018. Baker McKenzie assisted ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, in cooperation with Attorneys' Association Gestors, with an anti-dumping investigation into the import of reinforcing steel bars and wire rod from the Russian Federation.
 
The scope of work included assisting with preparing and submitting a complaint to the Ministry of Economy to launch the anti-dumping investigation, completing and submitting a questionnaire and comments to the Ministry of Economy in the course of the anti-dumping investigation, representing the client during public hearings and negotiations, and providing legal assistance during the verification procedures.
 
The anti-dumping investigation was in progress for 10.5 months. As a result of this investigation, Ukraine imposed final anti-dumping duties on reinforcing steel bars and wire rod from the Russian Federation at a rate of 15.21% for a period of five years.
