The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), held its annual Ukraine Business Luncheon Forum yesterday in Washington.  Over 85 people attend the Business Forum.  The agenda for the Forum was  BUSINESS...the rapid expansion of business and economic development in Ukraine through increased international and domestic investment, an improved business environment, enlarging trade opportunities, rule of law, development of a land market, privatization of state companies, infrastructure development, increased energy production through expanding investments and operations by the private business companies in nuclear, oil and gas.  Moving Ukraine's economy forward was presented as the first priority for the new government with strong support from the United States.

Ambassador John Herbst, for his distinguished service as a diplomat, including being Ambassador of the United States to Ukraine, his strong and productive leadership as Director, Eurasia Center at the Atlantic Council, and his years of service as a Senior Advisor to the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), providing USUBC members with regular and insightful briefings about Ukraine received a Distinguished Service Award (DSA) from the U.S. Ukraine Business Council (USUBC).
