On November 29, 2024, the National Art Museum of Ukraine (NAMU) hosted the opening of “At the Epicenter of the Storm. Secession in Ukraine,” a remarkable exhibition showcasing the diversity and innovation of Ukrainian art during the early 20th century. This project brings together works by celebrated artists such as Oleksandr Murashko, Fedir and Vasyl Krychevsky, and Heorhiy Narbut, reflecting a period of vibrant artistic exploration and the development of a national style.

The event highlighted the significant contribution of Accordbank, a proud member of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC). Accordbank’s support enabled the acquisition of Ivan Myasoedov’s The Argonauts sketch, now a part of NAMU’s permanent collection. This marks a milestone for the museum, as it now includes a work by one of the key figures of the Secession movement. USUBC representatives attended the exhibition to honor Accordbank’s efforts and celebrate the importance of preserving and showcasing Ukraine's cultural heritage.

The exhibition will be open throughout December, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in this extraordinary collection. The museum is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 to 18:00, and is located at 6 Hrushevskoho Street, Kyiv. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore the masterpieces of Ukrainian Secession art.
