If you haven't had a chance to visit the Holodomor: A Remembrance exhibit on the UMA website, please do so here. The exhibit features works by Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak inspired by the tragic 1932-33 Famine Genocide in Ukraine.  Lydia and her husband Mykhailo both grew up in the Ukrainian-American community in Cleveland before moving to Houston where they are active in the arts community.

Also, please join the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies at the University of Pittsburgh for the November 22, 2020 Artist Talk with Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak at 6:30 pm EST.

The Center is graciously hosting the virtual exhibit: Holodomor: A Remembrance.

Lydia will be interviewed by Dr. Tetyana Shlikhar (https://www.slavic.pitt.edu/people/tetyana-shlikhar) of the University's Slavic Studies Department.
