In its 17th year, the Washington Ukrainian Festival will take place on the grounds of St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral at 15100 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, Sept. 13, 14, and 15, 2019. The festival opens on Friday, Sept. 13th, with a happy hour and dinner options from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Entertainment, vendor offerings, traditional foods, sweets, and drink will be available on Saturday, Sept. 14th, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday, Sept. 15th, from 11 a.m. to dusk. This year, the Embassy of Ukraine is a major co-sponsor of the event.
