February 26-27, 2013, Kyiv's branch of the Ukrainian Bar Association Students League supported by Vasil Kisil & Partners held All-Ukrainian School on Intellectual Property Law for the third time.

More than 40 students representing major educational institutions of Ukraine took part in a two-day training, during which the leading lawyers in the field of intellectual property discussed core issues of legislative regulation and conducted a series of thematic workshops.

During the two-day program, students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, debate with the experts and get answers to their burning questions.

VKP's leading lawyer Tetyana Kudrytska yet again offered her expertise to this eager audience and this year her presentation focused on the specifics of patent rights protection. Using her real life professional experience in patent rights protection Tetyana highlighted most applicable and effective legal mechanisms for the protection of inventions, utility models and industrial designs, as well as on the key procedural aspects, which determine the tactics, and strategy of patent rights protection.

“Vasil Kisil & Partners is very appreciative of UBA's Student League’s initiative to gather students and professionals who are interested in intellectual property issues for the third time. Such events help students form a more holistic understanding of how the purely theoretical and practical aspects of intellectual property rights actually work. Vasil Kisil & Partners law firm is firmly committed to support endeavours of this nature,” - said Tetyana during closing ceremony.
