Kyiv, December 19, 2017 – Dentons Kyiv Partner Natalia Selyakova participated in the Capital Connection forum in London that targets managers and investors in the European distressed debt market 2017-2018. The event took place in London on 6 December 2017.

The Forum summarized the investment climate, obstacles and deals of 2017 and evaluated challenges and opportunities to come in 2018. With focus on different regions, this event gave a comprehensive outlook, as well as market-focused guidance from top experts.

Natalia spoke at a panel discussion titled “Market Overview – Ukraine”, which was dedicated to developments of distressed investments on the Ukrainian market. In particular, Natalia shared her view on prospects, key challenges and legal impediments when investing in distressed debt in Ukraine.

Other Participants of the panel have also addressed current market conditions, key industry sectors, and opportunities for investors. A representative of the Deposit Guarantee Fund has delivered a presentation on distressed assets sale, highlighting the importance of this subject for the Ukrainian government.
