On March 6, 2013, the World Bank Labour Mobility Mission headed by Johannes Koettl held a meeting with Ukrainian labour and employment experts. Tetyana Ivanovych, an associate with Vasil Kisil & Partners Labour and Employment practice group, was among the invited experts for the Mission.

World Bank Labour Mobility Mission is conducting a comprehensive research on labour mobility and education in Ukraine, which is expected to support legislative endeavours of Ukrainian Government in these areas. Currently the Mission’s work is focused on a gap between supply of Ukrainian youth intellectual potential and the national labour market demands.

Ms. Ivanovych pointed out that increasing internal labour mobility in Ukraine would definitely contribute to Ukraine’s transition to a market-oriented economy while propelling Ukraine’s prosperity, so this Mission is of great importance for our country.
