On March 5, 2013, Vasil Kisil & Partners in collaboration with Ukrainian Bar Association's Student League held a webinar on intellectual property rights.

Tetyana Kudrytska, firm's leading associate and attorney at law revealed the Specifics of IP Rights Protection at Customs Border to the new generation of lawyers who gathered in Kyiv and Kharkiv for this webinar.

The event started with a presentation followed by a question and answer session. Tetyana shared with the online audience the specific factors leading to the suspension of customs clearance of goods suspected of violating intellectual property rights. She also described the procedure for registration of intellectual property rights in the customs register.

During the Q&A session, students have expressed a particular interest in the registration in the customs register of such objects as inventions and plant varieties, as well as problematic aspects of simplified procedures for the destruction of goods when their customs clearance has been suspended on suspicion of IP rights violation.

All together, the webinar was attended by about 40 students from the above-mentioned cities.
