Ambassador Oksana Markarova and General Borys Kremenetskyi will attend and speak at the luncheon followed by a panel with 6 major US defense companies. One of the topics will be helping Ukraine defend itself by building a private industrial/defense base in Ukraine. All companies participating in the panel met with President Zelenskyy during his visit to Washington this week.

President of Ukraine met with executives of U.S. defense companies:

During his visit to the United States, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with executives of U.S. defense companies. "I want to thank all of you, as well as your partners. I would also like to say something important to your employees: you have done a lot for Ukraine. Without people like you, we would not be able to withstand and defend our land," the President said. Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the idea of establishing a defense hub in Europe, which will be located in Ukraine, as our country has a lot of practical experience gained through the war.
